Brent tagged along with his friend Sharni to see a cool band she and her friend Kat knew. This was one of Brent's first ventures into live music and it has been a big part of their lives ever since.

Kittens!
Our good friend Grace found a litter of kittens abandoned, and Kat's family were able to take Hera and her babies in. Hera was still a kitten herself. And as we all know, we kept them.

Moving In Together: Albemarle St
We took the plunge and moved in together into a share house with a few of our friends in Brisbane. Hera, mother of the four babies, moved in with us into Albemarle St.

New House: Red Hill
Too many roommates? Maybe you're ready to move to a place on your own! It's only temporary, we'll find somewhere better soon I think, but it's a cute little spot and close to everything! Moving in right at the end of the year, we spent NYE 2018 in this house with good friends.

New Apartment: Keperra
Moving up in the world! Brent's got a new job at TradeLink and Kat's been working at Anaconda for a little while so it's time to find somewhere more permanent on the north side.

New Adventures in Yeppoon
Chasing the dream of coastal living, they packed up and moved to beautiful Yeppoon. A fresh start in paradise, with ocean sunrises, weekend beach walks, and a slower pace of life. The move brought new challenges, new friends, and a deeper appreciation for building a life together.

In a beautiful full-circle moment, Brent proposed while following The Wonder Years on their east coast tour, the same band that brought them together a decade earlier. With the music that soundtracked their love story playing in the background, she said yes. Again.
